Whether you grew up with Fairmont State in your own backyard or whether you've never set foot in West Virginia, visit. It is the only way to know if Fairmont State is right for you.

When you come to Fairmont State, here's what you'll find:

• A graceful campus on a hill that literally vibrates with activity. In addition to our 80 clubs and organizations, we've recently completed Falcon Center, our beautiful new student activity center, along with a new residence hall and six floor parking garage.

• Gorgeous scenery and intriguing historical sites. Shhhhh. The rest of the country has no idea how beautiful and interesting West Virginia is.

• Friendly folk. Faculty, staff, students and Fairmont residents will go out of their way to make you feel at home.

• An impressive array of majors and programs taught by faculty hired for their teaching abilities. Fairmont State is all about helping you find a meaningful career path and then succeeding at it.

Visitation Days
Campus Visitation Day is an open house held for students(and their families) who are deciding where to continue their education. Campus Visitation Day is a great opportunity for prospective students to check out both institutions and to get to know us a little better. We offer one Campus Visitation Day event in the fall and one in spring each year. Those attending will have the opportunity to tour the campus, enjoy lunch and receive information on admissions, financial aid, housing. An Academic Fair is also scheduled so that you can meet with faculty about the major(s) you're interested in. Please visit www.fairmontstate.edu/cvd for more information and to register.
