It's a fact: in order to survive in a highly competitive job market, students must seek education or training beyond high school. Therefore, students are encouraged to begin exploring ALL of their options early so that they can make informed decisions about their future. Fairmont State GEAR UP offers a variety of unique and creative programs to help students determine what those options are and which choices are best for them. These programs include:
Tutoring and Mentoring Programs, After-School Enrichment Programs, Educational/Cultural Field Trips, College Campus Visits and Tours, Computer Scholarships, Career Exploration Opportunities, Access to Hands-On Science and Technology, ACT Prep Classes, Leadership Experience, Career Fairs, Awards & Recognition Programs for Positive Reinforcement, Specialized Summer Camps, College Admissions Orientation
